Laura Downer and Michael Makowski (AYF 17-18, both from UW-Madison) are the producers of “Fernweh and Home”, a podcast project to strengthen the German-American relationship at a local level.

Recently, they produced an episode about the Academic Year in Freiburg program featuring student interviews and conversations with Academic Director Prof. Kerstin Barndt and Program Director Ulrich (Ulli) Struve.
