Information for Prospective Students

 

The ACADEMIC YEAR IN FREIBURG (AYF) is a one-year study program at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität in Freiburg, offered by a consortium of Michigan State University, the University of Iowa, the University of Michigan, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which is the lead administrator.
The AYF program offers students the opportunity to improve fluency in the German language while taking a combination of program classes and regular German university courses.

The program maintains an office in Freiburg to support students in various ways and help them to benefit as much as possible from their year in Freiburg.
