Information for Prospective Students

HOUSING ARRANGEMENTS

The program arranges for housing in university dormitories, located a short street car, bus or bike ride from the campus. AYF students live in 13 different buildings in six different residence hall complexes.

Students live in single rooms grouped with other students' rooms, arranged in a suite or on a hall way. Rooms range in size from about 120 to 140 square feet. All rooms are wired for the Internet and outfitted with basic furnishings.

Each dormitory wing has shared kitchen facilities, and many students prepare their own meals. Students are eligible to eat in any of the university cafeterias, where food is available at very reasonable rates.

The following pages provide an overview of the type of housing that is available to AYF participants. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have additional questions.
